Current Projects – Spring 2007

The 2007 spring construction projects are scheduled for the counties of:

Wellington
Haldimand-Norfolk
Grey
Dufferin

MAAP has continuing commitments at two quarries that are being rehabilitated in the counties of Stormont Dundas and Glengarry and Leeds and Grenville. Research techniques acquired with respect to alvars and calcareous fens will be applied to these two quarries and future monitoring will provide insight into their effectiveness as rehabilitation initiatives.

Update:

Construction is well under way with the Cataraqui Conservation Authority as a nature trail is in its final stages of construction. This trail will be open to the public once completed and is located on Lyn Road just on the outskirts of the Village of Lyn.
